Claims

We offer a dedicated Freight Claims Department to assist with filing carrier claims. When submitting a claim, you must have all the details in order to submit. If all details are not available at the time you are filing the claim, it is best to wait until all information is available to be submitted at once.

Additional Checklist Items:

  • Complete Vendor Invoice: A vendor invoice showing the value of the items is necessary and a claim cannot be filed without one.
  • Backup Documentation: Any additional documentation you have to support the claim will only help in getting an approval.
  • Pictures: Take photos of the freight before and after shipping
  • Make sure item is packaged properly per NMFC general packaging requirements
